road trip!!!

Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!! I was supposed to go see my family, but my mom didn't really seem interested in cooking, so I went on a little road trip with a few girlfriends to pittsburgh to have dinner with my friend's family. It was so nice! The food was great...and I had a great time with my friends. On the drive there, I said to my friend, "Jaimie, I really like the lipgloss you wear. It always looks so good." painting

I've been painting like crazy lately...working on my project. I must have fourteen pieces for this collection by April. I have two completely finished (as if anything is ever completely finished, lol) and three nearly done. 


I'm a little weird about saying too much about a collection that isn't done yet, but the concept is an insider's view of ny. So, as I mentioned in an earlier blog, I have all these great photos my roommate took of different people, places, things that are very ny that the average tourist or visitor would miss. 


Anyway, please let me know what you think. I'll put up some pics as soon as I feel good about what I've painted (don't hold your breath, it takes awhile, lol).
